This summer's fight for the Iron Throne is already drawing to a climatic close as the season finale of "House of the Dragon" approaches.
The second season of the "Game of Thrones" Targaryen spin-off premiered on June 16 for an eight-episode run, following the story of a budding civil war between two factions of the Targaryen family.
After a season of twists, turns and turmoil, fans are anticipating a dramatic finish to season 2, especially with the precedent of a major death happening in last season's final episode.

When does the 'House of the Dragon' Season 2 finale premiere?
The "House of the Dragon" Season 2 finale will premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, August 4.
How to watch 'House of the Dragon' Season 2 finale
"House of the Dragon" airs exclusively on HBO. New episodes air on the HBO television channel each Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes are available to stream on Max the same day.
Customers can get HBO and Max subscriptions via a traditional online sign-up or through their TV provider. Plans range from $9.99 to $19.99 a month.
Did the 'House of the Dragon' Season 2 finale leak?
Yes, there was a leak of the season 2 finale, the second such leak in the show's run. Multiple clips from the episodes, which appeared to be filmed on another device pointed at a screen, were uploaded to TikTok on Tuesday, quickly spreading and exposing fans to spoilers.
"We are aware that clips from the House of the Dragon season finale have surfaced across social media platforms," HBO said in a statement, according to the Hollywood Reporter. "The clips were posted after an unintentional release from an international third-party distributor. HBO is aggressively monitoring and removing clips from the internet, and fans can watch the episode in its entirety this Sunday night on HBO and Max."
